Elizabeth first wrote about 'Tonya & Nancy' in her novella CELEBRITIES IN DISGRACE, which the New York Times Book Review called ‘a miniature masterpiece.’ She is the author of five books of fiction: MY BODY TO YOU, CELEBRITIES IN DISGRACE, A FOUR-SIDED BED, GIRL HELD IN HOME and most recently WE GOT HIM. She created both the concept and libretto for both Tonya & Nancy: The Opera and Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera. The one-act Tonya & Nancy opera, with music by Abigail Al-Doory Cross, has been performed in Boston and at Opera Vista in Houston, TX, where it was chosen as one of the top three new operas of the year. It was produced in Minneapolis/St. Paul in 2010 and in 2014, with Previews 'on ice.' Michael is an award-winning Film and Theatre Composer based in Los Angeles. Before graduating from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, he worked on Howard Shore's Music Team for The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. Since then, he has scored or worked on the music for over 60 films. His score to the feature 41 won Best Original Soundtrack at the Director's Chair Film Festival in Staten Island, NY. Teoli has composed three full-length musicals: Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera, CarnEvil and The Werewolves of Hollywood Boulevard. Michael provided music direction, arrangements and additional music for Doomsday Cabaret and Exorcistic: A Rock Musical Parody each winning Best Musical at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2012 and 2013 respectively. After an overwhelmingly positive response to his score for the play Absolutely Filthy, (which won Top Of Fringe/Best Overall at the 2013 Hollywood Fringe Festival and the 2014 New York Fringe Festival respectively), Michael released his first album, Absolutely Filthy Trax. Michael has recently been arranging and music directing Skulduggery: A Musical Prequel to Hamlet at Sacred Fools Theater in LA.

TANNER ALVAREZ (PRODUCTION MANAGER)
a proud Jersey Shore native and is very excited to be making his NYMF debut with the team of Tonya and Nancy: The Rock Opera. RECENT CREDITS: Richard II (Projection Designer), Slavs (Director), Bat Boy: The Musical (Asst. Director), Wild and Willful (Production Asst.), Jack London: Sex, Love, and Revolution (Projection and Sound Designer), The King’s Whore (Production Asst.) and Waiting for Lefty (Stage Manager). Tanner has worked with Martha Stewart Living in the video department and is currently working on America’s Got Talent as a production assistant.

KATHERINE K YIP (ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER)
Kat is an aspiring Production Stage Manager. Having only graduated college a year ago, she has fully embraced all that the New York entertainment scene has to offer. Kat has Staged managed various forms of performance art: Drama, Opera, Immersive, Dance and continues to broaden the spectrum. Her recent company credits include: Fringe NYC, Soho Repertory Theater (Soho rep.), Sleep No More and Opera America. She is very excited to return to the NYMF festival having been the Assistant Stage Manager for Somewhere with You last summer and is very thankful to a part of such a unique and exciting production!

CHRISTIN EVE CATO (ASM/ PRODUCTION COORDINATOR)
A New York based artist with a background in performing arts, playwriting, and production, Christin is a graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music and Art and the Performing Arts and of Fordham University. She is a former member of the Bats, the resident acting company of the Flea Theater; Co-Chair of Diversity in the Young Patrons of the Arts Circle board of Theater Resources Unlimited, and a member of New York Women in Film & Television. Ms. Cato is also an active member of Unit52 at INTAR Theatre, assisting in developing new works for their New Works Lab.

Actor, singer, and director currently based out of North Carolina. He is very pleased to be working with director, David Alpert and the rest of the T&N team. Professionally, Cory has worked at The Lost Colony (Choir/Ensemble). His educational credits include: Les Misèrables (Ensemble and u/s Javert, Dir. by Broadway’s Terrence Mann); 42nd Street (Bert Barry, Dir. Terrence Mann); Peter Pan, Or the Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (Smee); The Rocky Horror Show (Narrator); Zombies On Campus! A SlaughterPocalypse!(Premiere Cast, Ernie); Once in a Lifetime (Kammerling). Cory has directed The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. BFA, Western Carolina University, Theater Performance focus in Acting.

KYLE HILL ( ASSOCIATE SCENIC DESIGN ) is a New York City and Chicago based scenic designer and illustration artist. He is currently finishing up his BFA in theatre design at New York Universities Tisch School of the Arts. His recent projects include Catch Me if You Can (Tisch New Theatre), Crazy For You (The New Studio on Broadway), Carrie the Musical (NYU Student Works), and The Gamester (New Studio on Broadway). He is currently working in the studio of scenic designer Christine Jones, as a Production Assistant to the art department of ABC Studio's television series Violet, and as the Scenic Designer on Tisch New Theatre's upcoming production of Company.
LISA JANE WRIGHT (COSTUME DESIGN ASSISTANT ) is thrilled to be a part of this exciting project! This is her second show working with Vanessa after Disenchanted! The Musical. LJ currently works on Curious Incident of Dog at Nighttime as a swing dresser, and recently worked for Norwegian Cruise Line installing all the Nickelodeon costumes onto the ships. Previous NYC credits include Disenchanted!, Cuff Me, Cougar the Musical, Much Ado About Nothing, The Other Josh Cohen and Silence! The Musical. BOBBIE CLIFTON ZLOTNIK ( WIG DESIGNER ) is happy to return to NYMF after last season’s Mother Jones and the Children’s Crusade. TRACY DRYER (SPECIAL EVENTS PRODUCING ASSOCIATE) comes to NYMF with 21 years of theatre experience as an actor, coach, teacher and director. She is a graduate of NYU with a Master's in Performing Arts and is the founder of Centerstage Players theatre company. She is excited to be part of the NYMF team!
MONIKA ROBBINS (PRODUCTION/ GM ASSOCIATE)
Credits include Draussen vor der Tur, Andere/Costumes, Harvard Adams Pool Theater, Cambridge MA; Ghungroo, Agassiz Theatre, Cambridge MA; The Nutcracker, the Sacramento Ballet, Sacramento CA. Currently, she is building her theater resume part-time, while working in equity research covering cable, media, and satellite companies. She got her first theatrical experience in Annie Get Your Gun with River City Theater Company in elementary school. Monika holds a BA in Government with a minor in Economics and French citation from Harvard University.

A BA Theater Arts/ Business Major with Accounting minor at Loyola University New Orleans in her Junior year. She is currently working as an intern at All The Way Around Production Company. Credits include Crimes of the Heart (Prom Mistress), Endgame (Costume Designer), Alice in Wonderland (White Rabbit). While her passion is Musical Theater performance, she has completely embraced the design aspect of show business. SARA DECKER (DRESSER) is a Theatre Production major at Hofstra University, Sara is thrilled to be a part of the NYMF and Tonya and Nancy: The Rock Opera. NOAH SMITH (SPOTLIGHT OPERATOR/ INTERN) is a junior at Hofstra University studying drama and dance. This is his first time working with NYMF and he is very excited. Previous New York acting credits include Bat Boy, Bare: The Pop Opera, and The Drowsy Chaperone (Hofstra). Previous New York production credits include Assistant Stage Managing How the Other Half Loves, Props Master for The Comedy of Errors, and Build Crew Head for Burial at Thebes (Hofstra).
